I know some of you hate doing it but it really is so useful.

I am not going to make this entry too long but I do want to give you a few reasons why you should be blogging.

SEO ( Search Engine Optimization)

Do you care about your search engine ranking?

Think about yourself…. When we become bored we begin to ignore or lose interest in whatever it is. The same applies to Google Bots and all the search engine crawlers. The more fresh, new content your site keeps having, the more Google doubles back to it and is like “oh there’s something new here”.

I personally always see a jump and surge in my own SEO when I blog. I also see a drastic drop when I stop blogging for weeks at a time.

So yes please BLOG , BLOG , BLOG!

( also when you blog be sure you add all your #’s with your keywords to your blog)

NEW MEDIA CONTENT( PICS AND VIDS)

Same thing applies! Google and the other bots get bored if you do not give them anything new to find.

I know photo shoots are expensive. So I am not saying have pro pics done often. ( But you should update new pics atleast 2 times a year)

But CANDIDS, SELFIES AND SELF SHOT VIDS are a GREAT way to keep your human customers interested and coming back and also a great way to keep the bots that help rank you in search engines coming back too!

If you have an Iphone the 10 max or the 11 max pro you can get some great photos. Need advice on a great phone tripod, contact me I will share.

THE ABSOLUTE best phone for self photography.. . the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus. The S pen is a remote for the camera.  The pics are top of the line quality.

If you cannot afford either of those phones and also cannot afford a pro cam like the Canon EOS Rebel then LOGITECH BRIO HD PRO webcam is another option.

I personally own all mentioned above except the iphone 11 and also have a point and shoot camera and it makes keeping my media fresh very easy .

I do also own and operate Taken By Storm Photography and have reasonable and fair pricing. I am also willing in some cases to work with someone on pricing and coming to them if they are doing their best and really just need help.

My advice for how often to update images and video is atleast once every 12 weeks ( 3 mos)

IMPORTANT: Each time you add more photos and videos be sure you are tagging them with your keywords for your SEO , also be sure you are labeling the Alt Text in the backend for the more important keywords you want found in Search Engines.
